East Thames welcomes its home seekers to the East London Lettings Company (ELLC) website.
You can use this website to bid for properties. You can bid for one or two homes each week, provided they are of the right size for you. In order to bid for East Thames properties, you must be a resident of East Thames and have registered onto our transfer list
If you meet these criteria, you will have received information from us on how to bid. If you have not received this information please contact our Homes Choice Team on 0845 600 0830.
If you are an East Thames resident and would like to register to bid for homes, you can download an application form (this will open a new window) or call our Homes Choice Team on 0845 600 0830 to order a form. Once you are registered, please remember to let us know about any change in your circumstances so we can keep your registration details up to date.
As a social landlord we do have a legal obligation to the local authorities with which we work, to give them a proportion of our homes for re-letting. As there is generally a high demand for homes and a limited number of properties to advertise each week, it may not be possible to place a bid each week.
If you want to move quickly we would also recommend that you also consider other housing options, for example, registering on the ELLC mutual exchange system – this is free service.
